Hello, everyone! Today, we are blog hopping with Unity Stamp Company! Maybe you’ve come here from Shannon’s blog — if not, I’ve attached the list of blogs that are hopping today so you can check them all out. If you comment on each of the blog posts for today, you could win an awesome Unity prize package. There will be 2 winners, and you’ll want to be one of them!
For this hop, we were asked to do a project with our favorite Unity stamp. Well, that would be like picking which of my children is my favorite….impossible! I can’t do it! But, I picked a beautiful, relatively new stamp that not only spoke to me, but pretty much screamed to me. This is a stamp from the Angie Girls line at Unity, created by Angie Blom, called “Patience Girl:”
Isn’t she beautiful?
I have been in a season of my life during which Bible Journaling has become extremely important. Right now, I am using this kit from Illustrated Faith to prompt me, and it is exactly what I need right now. When I read the passage, I knew I wanted to create a page with “Patience Girl.” This stamp set comes not only with this beautiful girl, but with 2 sentiments: “I am Enough,” and “You are Enough.” Oh, who doesn’t need to hear that every so often?!?!??! I’m pretty sure I need to hear it at least once a day!
To create this, I first prepped my page, and then stamped “Patience Girl” but not the sentiment. I then used several of the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks (have I mentioned how much I love these?…I think I have maybe once, twice or a thousand times!). I stamped the sentiment and then colored Patience with Derwent Inktense Pencils and a water brush. Lastly, I added some Stickles around her and in the sand. Personally, I love this page and it felt so cathartic to create it.
There are over 100 Angie Girls available at Unity Stamp Company. Check them out, because I’m sure you’ll find some that really speak to you.

I gave each of my daughters-in-law journaling Bibles for Christmas last year so you have given me a good idea of what to buy them this year – colors and inks! Hope your journaling helps you connect more and more with our Lord for he is always there no matter what our need. Your Christmas card with the dog and cat peering out the window is my most favorite Christmas card. I’m and “all dogs and cats go to heaven” person and your card made me feel good all over!
